American Shotokan Karate of California

Before studying Shotokan I studied Shorin-Ryu for nearly 4 years competing in kata and weapons in tournaments on the weekends. As of 2009, I have been training with Sensei Yabe for 7 years.  I have learned so much about karate and the orgin of Shotokan karate from Sensei Yabe. He is very knowledgeable as well as skillful. If you get a chance to train with him, you will not regret it.
